The next instalment from Salmon Universe is a 14 artist odyssey, including exploratory ambient electronica from the UK, Japan, Australia, and Canada.
An eclectic mix of artists including India Jordan, Luke Abbott, Haji K. (aka Nico Niquo), Crosspolar, Percival Pembroke and Kenji Kihara, have been curated by label heads Deep Learning and JQ, to create the experience of a single, flowing record.

"This exceptional collection gathers works by an impressive array of talent from the current new-ambient movement, in a borderless 14 track odyssey through all things shaded in beatless, experimental and spiritually engaging hues.
Though majoring on pieces by British artists – among them Norfolk’s Luke Abbot (his ‘Lost Landscape’ here is outstanding), Bristol’s Percival Pembroke and London’s Moscow Youth Cult – it also takes in some wonderfully alluring tracks from Japanese, North American and Australian composers too.
And so the multi-tracked celestial voice of British-American artist Lauren Doss carries ‘Voices 3’ into the most exquisitely tranquil, light-filled space and is a head-turning early highlight, though each and every track here is genuinely outstanding, like Kenji Kihara’s feather-light contribution ‘Little Nap’, which brings to mind the effortless grace of Susumu Yokota.
Perhaps the highlight though, is New Atlantis label mainstay India Jordan’s ‘Ohrwurm’, a mesmerising, trance-inducing beauty that’s built around field recordings captured in rural Germany. Essential."
